General Mattis Offers North Korea Quite the Ultimatum

General Mattis gives North Korea a very clear ultimatum.

U.S. Secretary of Defense, General Jim Mattis has very strong words for North Korea, Reuters is reporting. The statement comes on the heels of the President Trump’s message to the North Korean dictator yesterday. President Trump warned Kim Jong Un, promising “fire and fury and frankly, power” in response to the threats of the North Korean dictator.

General Mattis, via Reuters:

“The DPRK must choose to stop isolating itself and stand down its pursuit of nuclear weapons,” Mattis said in a statement. DPRK is short for the North’s official name, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. “The DPRK should cease any consideration of actions that would lead to the end of its regime and the destruction of its people,” Mattis said. “The DPRK regime’s actions will continue to be grossly overmatched by ours and would lose any arms race or conflict it initiates,” he added.

President Trump and General Mattis are right.

The flailing of the North Korean regime are growing tiresome and yet more dangerous by the day. Due to the help of President Clinton, the regime is becoming a more serious threat with every passing day. Intervention is becoming a necessity. There is no safety or security for our nation or our allies while the ‘fat-bellied’ dictator brandishes a nuclear arsenal capable of devastating targets covering most of the globe.

President Trump must act swiftly, but must be careful not to be ‘rope-a-doped’ into meeting the demands of the globalist neo-cons or their liberal counterparts. Both sides want Trump to make a huge mistake with North Korea. The neo-cons lust for war and see this as the best opportunity for it. The liberal Democrats want to see President step into a huge mess and destroy his Presidency. The conflict with North Korea could be a defining moment in the Trump Presidency, and we all will reap either the rewards or the consequences of his actions.

Though I don’t have the definitive answer to this massive problem, I can confidently say that action must be taken. We have ‘talked’ to this regime for decades which has allowed them to develop the weapons of destruction that they have today. It is time to take action, but appropriate action that keeps us out of World War III and saves as many lives as possible. We cannot wait until we see one of our cities in ash to react. We don’t have to have another Pearl Harbor.

an even more effective message would be to tell the clown that we will arm his people to overthrow him.
