Trump Presidency

Clinton-lite: Former President Bush Bashes Trump

Former President George W. Bush decided to go after President Trump today.

The self-termed “brother” of the Clinton’s showed his true colors in the attack without ever mentioning the current President.

During an event hosted by the George W. Bush Institute, the former President decided to make his feelings for President Trump clearly known. Despite being a fellow Republican and self-proclaimed conservative, Bush seems to be siding more with his other family, the Clinton’s.

“Bigotry seems emboldened.”

This should come as little surprise to those that have paid attention to the relationship between the Bush’s and Clinton’s. Former President Bush seemed to hint indirectly that the tone of President Trump is one of bigotry and bullying. This is something his “sister” Hillary has said on more than one occasion. I wonder where he got the sentiment from?

“Bullying and prejudice in our public life sets a national tone, provides permission for cruelty and bigotry, and compromises the moral education of children.”

President Bush tried to tie the “America First” policy of Trump to being against immigrants, which is a complete fallacy. President Trump simply wants to abide by the laws of the land and make the country safe in our immigration policy. If you’ve noticed, there hasn’t been this big “deportation force” rounding everyone up, but rather ICE has been able to do its job. President Obama had put the freeze on the entire department during his administration.

Where have you been the last eight years, George? Didn’t see any policy or action out of the Obama Administration that you thought was speech worthy? Save your foolishness.

Unsurprisingly, the liberal media talking heads and Democrat politicians have been singing the high praises of Bush all day long. All of a sudden, the man they hated, maligned, and wanted to be destroyed is now their “Trump-bashing savior.” Their hypocrisy never ceases. Feel free to read the entire speech that they are swooning over here.

As President, Bush was no conservative. He raised the national debt to astronomical levels (before Obama came next and outdid him in this category). He got us into wars we should never have been in. President Bush entangled us in foreign affairs that we had no business getting involved with (i.e. NAFTA). Don’t be surprised when I don’t exactly follow his lead in attacking a President that is finally fighting to undo all of his (and Obama’s) mess.

“We cannot wish globalism away.”

President Trump is fighting for the American people and for American interests. He isn’t part of the globalist cabal so it’s not surprising that renowned globalists (Bush, Clinton, and Obama) hate him.

Fight on, President Trump!
