OPINION: Scaramucci Was Simply A ‘Headhunter’ For POTUS

BREAKING: Anthony Scaramucci out as White House Communications Director

Per WhiteHouse.gov:

‘Anthony Scaramucci will be leaving his role as White House Communications Director. Mr. Scaramucci felt it was best to give Chief of Staff John Kelly a clean slate and the ability to build his own team. We wish him all the best.’

Opinion: Scaramucci was simply a ‘headhunter’ for President Trump.

Now, as I start, this is completely opinion based. I have no contacts or sources to confirm this theory. That being said, I believe that the removal of White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci was simply another move in the game of 4-D chess that President Trump is playing. Follow my logic here. President Trump brought in Reince Priebus and subsequently Sean Spicer in the early stages of forming his White House team in order to extend an olive branch to the GOP establishment. Over the last six months, it has become clearly evident that Priebus and Spicer were not capable to run their positions. Incessant leaks have stifled the effectiveness of President Trump’s first six months due to the narrative consistently being hijacked by the liberal media receiving the leaks.

It’s easy to believe that President Trump would bring in a known bulldog like Scaramucci to shake things up and weed out the leakers, something he made a priority from day one. Interestingly enough, Scaramucci was successful in that endeavor, weeding out White House press aide Michael Short. The addition of Scaramucci ushered in the resignation of Sean Spicer as White House Press Secretary on Friday, July 21, 2017. Just a few days later, on July 28, 2017, Reince Priebus joined his compatriot in leaving the White House staff. Priebus and Spicer were both on the short list of suspects in the leaking fiasco, but were at the very least responsible for not putting the plug in the leaks after six months.

Additionally, on Friday, Anthony Scaramucci announced that he would not take a salary while serving in the position of White House Communications Director. Was this because he was simply choosing to be generous or did he know that he would be in the position long, so what was the point?

Many point to the off the record/on the record interview between Scaramucci and The New Yorker reporter Ryan Lizza that was released last week and contained vulgar language about other White House staff members as the reason for the removal. However, I think it is very possible that Scaramucci was hired to come in, bust up the leaks/leakers and then move on. In the business world that individual would be considered a ‘headhunter.’ That has a pretty good ring to it, Anthony ‘Headhunter’ Scaramucci.
